55th RHF Conference, Dakar 2023
The Habitat and Francophony Network (HFN) conference was held from May 16 to 20, 2023 in Dakar. The theme addressed during this 55th conference is: << EFFECTIVELY MEET THE NEEDS FOR AFFORDABLE AND SUSTAINABLE HOUSING: MODELS AND SUCCESS FACTORS >>.
Indeed, this conference provided a platform for the sharing of ideas, experiences and good practices to address the challenges related to affordable and sustainable housing. Exchanges between delegations and partners helped to strengthen cooperation and mutual understanding in the search for concrete solutions. The participants expressed their satisfaction with the organization of the conference and expressed their commitment to continue efforts to improve housing conditions in their respective countries.
Furthermore, the BACID team which was present during this conference, took the opportunity to meet the ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire to Senegal, his excellency General Sékou Touré and his diplomats, as well as Ivorians living in Senegal to present BACID and its achievements.
They then congratulated BACID for the actions carried out in favor of the Ivorians and assured of their unwavering support.
